Mumbi Girls High
At Furaha House Trust, our Educational Support Program is changing the narrative for underprivileged girls in Kenya. Through access to quality education, mentorship, and essential resources, these girls are breaking barriers and achieving remarkable milestones.
From excelling in academics to securing scholarships for higher education, many of our beneficiaries have become shining examples of resilience and determination. They are now pursuing careers in fields like medicine, teaching, and technology, becoming role models for their communities.
Their stories of triumph remind us of the power of education to transform lives and build a brighter future. Together, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders, one girl at a time.
Key Success Indicators for Our Education Program
Our Educational Support Program tracks the progress of each student using clear success indicators to ensure that we are making a meaningful impact. Here are some of the key indicators we use to measure our program’s success:
Academic Improvement:
Monitoring each girl’s grades and overall academic performance, ensuring they demonstrate steady improvement across core subjects.
School Attendance Rates:
Tracking attendance to confirm that financial support and basic needs are reducing absenteeism, leading to consistent participation in school.
Graduation and Advancement Rates
Recording the number of girls who successfully complete each school year and advance to higher levels of education, ultimately reaching graduation.
Personal Development and Confidence Growth:
Assessing students’ self-confidence, leadership skills, and aspirations for the future through mentorship feedback and regular personal development workshops.
